Delete Your Ascend Quests Account
This page explains how to permanently delete your account and associated data, whether or not you can open the app or sign in.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: hero name, level, XP, streaks, titles, achievements
- Quest history and completions
- Your uploaded avatar and background images
- Your sign-in credentials and active sessions
What's retained, and why
Nothing, unless we are legally required to keep a minimal record (for example, a billing record already required to be retained for tax purposes is stripped of everything except the transaction id, amount and date, and severed from your profile). Deletion is processed within 30 days. Backups that already existed at the time of your request are purged on their normal rotation, within 90 days.
Before you delete: if you have an active subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play, deleting your Ascend Quests account does not cancel it. Cancel first in Apple subscription settings or Google Play subscription settings. Need help? Contact ascendhelps@gmail.com.
How to delete your account
In the app (fastest): open Ascend Quests → Settings → Delete Account → type DELETE to confirm. This deletes your account and data immediately.
Can't open the app, or don't have it installed? Send us a deletion request by email and we'll process it by hand.
Your request must come from the email address on your account — if it doesn't, we'll reply to that address to verify ownership before processing anything. Requests are processed within 30 days, per the retention terms above.

If you can't sign in, enter the email on your account. We'll email you a one-time link, valid for 1 hour, to confirm the deletion.
